'Center Stage' Receives 'Remix' Courtesy Of GREGATRON

Updated: Aug 1

Releasing today, introducing "Center Stage" (GREGATRON Remix), Sean Rodriguez's popular single remixed to extend the excitement from its original release last year.

Dropped a little over a year ago, the original "Center Stage" (Feb. 10, 2023) released to Christian music fans just as Rodriguez was introducing his music and message to concert goers on the 40+ date Winter Jam Tour Spectacular 2023.

Additionally, the song bowed on the heels of being named NRT's "Next Big Thing" at the fan-favorite outlet's annual We Love Christian Music Awards in 2022 for debut single, "Step Into My Story" (Jun. 10, 2022)—serving to build a continual momentum for an artist on the rise.

"The song was inspired by a conversation I had with a student when I was a youth leader," Sean told NRT last June. "The young man said, 'You didn't just tell me how to live; you showed me.' That opened my eyes to realize, whether we know it or not, people are always watching. Even when they don't listen, we have an incredible opportunity to show them the love that God shows us."

This new "Remix" isn't the first time Rodriguez and GREGATRON have collaborated. The two also co-wrote "Step Into My Story," with GREGATRON also being featured as producer on the track.

GREGATRON, a world-class producer and remixer, brings a unique touch to any creative endeavor. With unmatched energy and enthusiasm, GREGATRON brings "the party" to every production or performance. His most recent offering, the official remix for for KING & COUNTRY's "What Are We Waiting For?" (Jan. 5, 2024), sets the stage for anticipated remixes with the likes of Sarah Reeves, Hannah Schaefer, and more artists to be named.

Recently surpassing "Step Into My Story," the original "Center Stage" is Sean Rodriguez's most streamed song to date, now over 1-million combined streams across all platforms. A fitting statistic, given the meaning behind the song.

"We are called to preach the Gospel, yes. But we're also called to live out the Gospel in the best way that we can, so we can show others what a life following Christ looks like and all the blessings and goodness it can bring," he adds, as the song helps to provide more platforms for Sean to "preach."

"That's what 'Center Stage' is all about."
