"It Is Finished," the latest single from rising Christian artist Sean Rodriguez, featuring Christian rock staple Disciple, has officially reached the #1 spot on the Christian Music Weekly (CMW) Rock Chart for the week of December 11th, 2024. This milestone represents Rodriguez's first radio no. 1, in addition to WieRok Entertainment's first radio chart-topper.
The Christian Music Weekly Rock Chart is the only chart in the industry that recognizes and charts official reporting stations that are actively spinning songs categorized in the "Christian Rock" sub-genre.

"It Is Finished" first made its CMW Rock Chart appearance on the Oct. 16, 2024 chart with +3 adds and a +29 reported spins increase, landing recognition on the chart's "On The Verge," "Power Surge," and "Most Added" features. It began its official charting journey the following week on the Oct. 23, 2024 chart debuting at no. 20.
The single then jumped an incredible +11 spots to no. 9 the following week (Oct. 30, 2024), firmly entrenching the song in the chart's Top 10 as its fourth week saw a move to no. 6 on the Nov. 6, 2024 chart. The road to no. 1 saw a brief fall to eighth position (even with an increase in spins from the previous week), then rebounding into the Top 5 at no. 5 on the Nov. 20, 2024 chart.
The next two charts would see "It Is Finished" climb one spot to no. 4, then two more positions to no. 2 on Dec. 4 before replacing Behold The Beloved's one-week stay at no. 1 ("Powerplay") for Rodriguez's first-ever number one song. Global sensation Skillet had previously held the top spot for multiple consecutive weeks with their single, "Unpopular."
Released in late October, "It Is Finished" has quickly garnered attention for its powerful blend of rock instrumentation and a message of faith, strength, and redemption. The song addresses themes of overcoming adversity—with a focus on the victory found in faith—which has resonated with a broad audience.

Mar. 26, 2025: For the first time since Nov. 20, 2024, "It Is Finished" has fallen out of the Top 5 and drops to no. 6. The single experienced an unprecedented 18 consecutive weeks in the Top 5 on the CMW Rock Chart! This is the 23rd total consecutive charting week and 22nd consecutive Top 10 week.
Mar. 19, 2025: Not finished yet! The track stays in the Top 5 and rises one spot to no. 3. This is the 22nd total consecutive charting week and 18th consecutive Top 5 week.
Mar. 12, 2025: With a now total of 17 consecutive weeks in the Top 5, "It Is Finished" relinquishes its top spot to Lacey Sturm's "Not Your Fight," and drops to no. 4. This is the 21st total consecutive charting week and 17th consecutive Top 5 week.
Mar. 5, 2025: Number one again! "It Is Finished" has now topped the CMW Rock Chart for its TENTH (non-consecutive) week! (Previous runs: 1 week, Feb. 19, 2025; 5 weeks, Jan. 8-Feb. 5, 2025; 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024) This is the 20th total consecutive charting week and 16th consecutive Top 5 week.
Feb. 26, 2025: Matt Sassano's "Violated" returns to unseat "It Is Finished" for the top spot this week by just two spins, dropping the song to no. 2. This is the 19th total consecutive charting week and 15th consecutive Top 5 week.
Feb. 19, 2025: Flip-flop! "It Is Finished" is back at no. 1, its 9th non-consecutive week atop the CMW Rock Chart. Lacey Sturm and Matt Sassano land at numbers 2 and 3 respectively (previous runs: 5 weeks, Jan. 8-Feb. 5, 2025; 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024). This is the 18th total consecutive charting week and 14th consecutive Top 5 week.
Feb. 12, 2025: The second streak is over. "It Is Finished" drops to no. 3, upended by Lacey Sturm ("Not Your Fight," 2) and Matt Sassano making the top spot with "Violated." Just 5-spins separate the top three spots. Note: Disciple's "If You Say So" lands one spot behind Rodriguez at no. 4 (its 20th week on the chart!). This is the 17th total consecutive charting week and 13th consecutive Top 5 week.
Feb. 5, 2025: Five ALIVE! Another 5 consecutive weeks at no. 1 to bring the total to 8 overall weeks to top the CMW Rock Chart (previous consecutive run: 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024). This is the 16th total consecutive charting week and 12th consecutive Top 5 week.
Jan. 29, 2025: Record breaking! "It Is Finished" hits its first 4-week run at the top, marking the single's 7th overall week at no. 1 (previous consecutive run: 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024). This is the 15th total consecutive charting week and 11th consecutive Top 5 week.
Jan. 22, 2025: Mix-and-MATCH! The second 3-peat week streak brings the 6th overall week at no. 1 to "It Is Finished" (previous consecutive run: 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024). This is the 14th total consecutive charting week and 10th consecutive Top 5 week.
Jan. 15, 2025: We're "running" again! Streak no. 2 commences with back-to-back weeks at no. 1 for the first time since Dec. 18, 2024—the song's 5th overall week at no. 1 (previous consecutive run: 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024). This is the 13th total consecutive charting week and 9th consecutive Top 5 week.
Jan. 8, 2025: Suspicions confirmed? We'll never know, but "It Is Finished" is back to no. 1 on the CMW Rock Chart, its 4th non-consecutive week (previous consecutive run: 3 weeks, Dec. 11-25, 2024) atop the chart. This is the 12th total consecutive charting week and 8th consecutive Top 5 week.
Jan. 1, 2025: Behold The Beloved returns to the no. 1 position to start the new year with their hit, "Powerplay"—just +5 spins ahead of "It Is Finished," which drops to no. 2. Although not confirmed, WieRok executives believes this is due to an inadvertent missed submission from a reporting station over the Christmas holiday. This is the 11th total consecutive charting week and 7th consecutive Top 5 week.
Dec. 25, 2025: Merry Christmas to "It Is Finished!"—now three consecutive weeks at no. 1. This is the 10th total consecutive charting week and 6th consecutive Top 5 week.
Dec. 18, 2025: It's officially a run! "It Is Finished" marks its 2nd consecutive week at no. 1! The song also comes in at no. 55 on CMW's Top 100 Rock Songs of 2024 (see Page 13). This is the 9th total consecutive charting week and 5th consecutive Top 5 week.
