K-LOVE Adds 'Jesus Will' To New Music First Playlist

Updated: Oct 23

The nation's largest Christian music radio network, K-LOVE, continues to program new releases from Sean Rodriguez on their branded digital platforms.

Just released, "Jesus Will" quickly finds its way onto the network's New Music First playlist on Apple Music and Spotify. This comes after previous singles, "House of God" (released June 14) was featured on this and the K-LOVE Fresh Sounds playlists simultaneously and "Honey" being added to Fresh Sounds back on Apr. 23 (which, at the time of this article's publication, is still appearing on the playlist).

After the start of the Jesus Will Summer Tour in May of this year, and the hint of a Jesus Will EP coming with the releases of "Honey" and "House of God," the much-anticipated "Jesus Will" single drops to applause from fans on social media (since as early as April with this teaser), Christian media outlets (with the exclusive CCM Magazine song visual premiere and NRT features), and other streaming platforms following suit (namely, Spotify adding the song to their weekly new music list, All New Christian & Gospel, and Apple Music profiling the song in their Featured New Releases > Christian).

"Moments can occur in life that rock and shape us," says Sean. "That time came last November when my Aunt Sirena unexpectedly died," he recalls. Taking the rest of the year off, his first songwriting session for 2024 birthed what would be "Jesus Will," forming a banner, yet positive requiem for Sean's current season.

"I believe that this lyric in 'Jesus Will,' 'When we can't battle, JESUS WILL,' can be a game changer for so many going through anything at any given time."

Fans can enjoy Sean performing "Jesus Will" and all of his new (and favorite) songs, his Jesus Will Summer Tour, currently hit 30+ dates across the country through September 2024.
