The Gospel Music Association—the organization that produces the annual Dove Awards—selected Sean Rodriguez to represent their weekly updated "New Music Friday" playlist on Spotify showcasing new releases for October 25, 2024, highlighting Rodriguez's new single, "It Is Finished" (feat. Disciple).
The GMA New Music Friday playlist is specifically curated by the Gospel Music Association, scouring "the Christian and Gospel music world for some of the best new releases," as stated in the playlist's description.
Although this is the first time Rodriguez has been featured on the playlist's cover, his releases are an extremely common occurrence. Every single since his WieRok Entertainment label debut "Step Into My Story" (Jun. 10, 2022) have experienced placements on GMA's New Music Friday playlist.
